Costa Rica boasts 6% of the world's biodiversity in just 51,000 km2, with over 350 species of amphibians, more than 800 species of birds, many of them among the most beautiful in the world, and over 250 species of mammals, including the puma and the jaguar.
All this biodiversity concentrated in a very small territory, especially in a specific area of the country, Corcovado. That's why on this trip, we will visit 6 of the most remarkable and intense points of the entire country: beaches, waterfalls, volcanoes, and heading towards the most intense place on the planet according to National Geographic—Corcovado. Here, we will immerse ourselves for 2 days and 1 night in the jungle of the national park.
Of the biodiversity of the ENTIRE planet.

Birds some of the most beautiful in the ENTIRE world.
species of mammals, including the great feline of the American continent.
Welcome to one of the most intense author expeditions on the planet, an adventure to immerse ourselves in the depths of one of the most biodiverse territories in the world. A journey where you'll discover paradisiacal beaches, waterfalls with landscapes straight out of Jurassic Park movies, and lush jungles hiding secrets waiting to be discovered. It's a journey to find the meaning of the whispers emerging from the depths of the wild mountains.
We know that one of the most important aspects for an authentic traveler is to immerse themselves in the culture of each place they visit, to fill their hearts and souls with unforgettable experiences. That's why this journey is balanced between adventure, adrenaline, and breaks to explore Costa Rica and its people. You'll have free days to explore on your own or to relax, preparing yourself for the next adventure.
If you've made it this far, it's because, like many of us, you have an adventurous soul thirsty to explore the world and its wonders. We are the kind of people who understand that one lifetime is not enough to see everything out there: the ocean and its strange yet captivating life, the most hostile but beautiful jungles, the vast plains, and the diversity of cultures that enrich humanity. This is the reason for being at All Good Travels and it is a pleasure for our team to have you as part of our family.
September 25th - October 3rd, 2025
(9 days, 8 nights)
Day 1
Arrival in San José, the capital of Costa Rica.
The expedition leaders will assist each of you in reaching the rooms where we will sleep on the first night. This day will be for getting to know each other and preparing ourselves. We'll clarify any doubts and provide recommendations for the journey ahead.
Day 2
Snorkel in Islas Murciélago.
We will take an internal flight that will take us to Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste, with the intention of exploring the only archipelago in Costa Rica and snorkeling in its crystal-clear and lively waters. Later, we will spend the night near one of the most beautiful beaches in the country: Playa Conchal.
Day 3
At the feet of the colossus, we visit La Fortuna.
We will travel from Playa Conchal to La Fortuna, where a unique landscape awaits us, with the imposing Arenal Volcano standing before us. We will embark on a horseback photography excursion to visit the most notable places in the area and observe the local wildlife.
Day 4
The Jurassic Landscape, Hike Quebrada Gata, and Barroso River.
From La Fortuna, we will travel to a small town called Venecia, where we will embark on our first hike. We will visit one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Costa Rica. Just imagine seeing 5 waterfalls cascading in one place and thousands emerging from the surrounding rocks.
Day 5
The Prelude, Dawn in the Capital.
We wake up in the capital, San José. This day is for preparation because the next 3 days will be the most intense of the entire trip, both in terms of photography and physical effort. It's a perfect day to get to know the capital more thoroughly, explore the streets, or simply rest (we've had 4 extremely intense days).
Day 6
Drake Bay, at the doorstep of Corcovado.
We will take a flight of approximately 1 hour to reach one of the most remote areas of Costa Rica: Drake Bay. Here, we will embark on an ATV tour to explore the area and discover the unique beaches and forests found here.
Day 7
The Mountain Whispers, Sirena Station
We will wake up early to start the journey and immerse ourselves in an area that houses approximately 3% of the world's biodiversity. Finally, we will arrive at Corcovado National Park, where, with some luck, we will enjoy close encounters with the exotic fauna of the place. We will spend a night inside the park at Sirena Station.
DIA 8-9
The Return, back to Drake Bay.
We will start the last stretch of Corcovado, equally surrounded by flora and fauna. This is our second chance to have extremely unique encounters. Finally, we will return to Drake Bay in Puerto Jiménez, where we will spend our last night together before taking the return flight to the capital and concluding our expedition, with many photos, new friends, and an unforgettable story.

I began my journey in photography 5 years ago in university, but it wasn't until 2 years ago that I ventured into landscape photography and let myself be carried away by exploration.
Since I started in this, it's something that captivated me, and now I hope to be able to help more explorers be absorbed by this incredible art
Photographer, Filmmaker, and content creator for the past 6 years.
We know that as photographers, we're always the ones taking the photo, and rarely do we find ourselves being the ones portrayed.
That's why I'm the person in charge of documenting every exploration so that all our dear explorers can carry with them the best photographs.
